To commemorate International Women’s day this 8th of March, we are posting a series of e-seminars about women in science produced by the University of Oxford with the aim of promoting and encouraging women in their scientific careers.

The series provide information and resources, which may aid females in pursuing their careers. They also cover pressing issues facing scientists today, including: career pathways, funding challenges, work and life balance, mentorship, and career progression. The overall goal is to convince women out there that, although it may be challenging, it is possible for motivated women to succeed in science.

"The story of women's struggle for equality belongs to no single feminist nor to any one organization but to the collective efforts of all who care about human rights" Gloria Steinem
