The Life Cycle of Malaria is a free education app, developed by the Nuffield Department of Medicine from the University of Oxford, which visualises the burden of malaria in a 3-D game oriented and creative manner. By allowing players to role-play as the mosquito and the malaria parasite, and interacting with different stages of the disease's life-cycle, this application (currently only available for Android, with development of PCs and Iphones in progress) offers an alternative way of learning about malaria.
